Introduction:

In the luminous journey of Christu Jyoti Convent School, Sanwer, the institution is set to mark a significant milestone with its inaugural full-fledged annual day celebration. Originating as a branch of Christu Jyoti Sr. Sec. School, Ujjain, this establishment emerged in response to the increasing demand for quality education beyond the boundaries of Ujjain district.

Genesis and Inception:

The roots of Christu Jyoti Convent School, Sanwer, trace back to the year 2015 when the then provincial team headed by  Rev. Mother Maria Karotemprel recognizing the need to extend its reach to new areas,  selected Lalakheda in Sanwer town as the ideal location for the construction of the school. The foundation stone was ceremoniously laid on January 6, 2017, by Most Rev. Bishop Chacko Thottumarikal, in the presence of Mother Agnet, then provincial superior, and sisters from nearby communities. Rev. mother Tresa Nedumattam took on the managership of the school from December 2021

Early Challenges and Triumphs:

Commencing its academic journey on July 4, 2018, with merely eight students including nursery and KG II, the school initially operated from a rented house near Khandelwal Petrol Pump in Sanwer. Pioneered by Sr. Nirmala Mundakal, Sr. Jyoti Maria Kochuparambil, and Sr. Elize Naidu, the school overcame early challenges with determination.After that( names of other sisters who served school)

Historic Milestone:

The turning point for Christu Jyoti Convent School, Sanwer, occurred on October 21, 2018, when the newly constructed school building at Lalakheda was blessed by Rev. Fr. Chandy Kalathoor, the Rector of Ruhalaya Major Seminary. Classes officially commenced in the new building on October 22, 2018. The school achieved affiliation with the MP Board up to class VIII, and the process for CBSE affiliation from class IX have begun this year by the management.

Navigating Challenges and Adapting to Change:

Despite the global disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the school exhibited resilience. Throughout the challenging period, online classes, exams, and competitions continued to ensure the holistic development of students. Following the pandemic, the school experienced rapid progress in terms of student enrollment, staff expansion, and infrastructure development which is clearly visible by thesteady increase in the  quantity quality of our students and the ongoing construction work.

Our school gives prime importance to academics . The system of education in CJCS is a perfect blend of theory ,practice and technological integration. 11 students appeared for their first Board Exam of class fifthlast year and made us proud with cent percent result. …… topped our school.

These events provide a platform for students to showcase their talents, be it in singing, fancy dress, solo dance, handwriting, rangoli making, or diya making. Investiture Ceremony and Student Council:

The month of July witnessed the prestigious Investiture Ceremony, where Devendra…… and Meenal…..i were appointed as the Head Boy and Head Girl, respectively. A student council was also appointed, embodying leadership and responsibility. Sr. Tessy P, the principal, delivered an inspiring message on the occasion, congratulating the newly appointed council members and instilling a sense of duty and purpose

Celebrations and Events:

Our Students actively participate in various celebrations and events to name a few- Independence Day, Republic Day, Manager's Day, and Principal's Day. These occasions are marked with cultural extravaganza, fervor and enthusiasm, fostering a sense of patriotism, gratitude, and respect within the school community.

Sports Day and Annual Picnics:

Sports Day is celebrated as a day full of fun and enthusiasm, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students.
